I'm a product designer with 10+ years of experience based in Taipei, Taiwan, working as a product design lead of Pinkoi, an e-commerce marketplace platform currently.

In my role as Design Lead at Pinkoi, I am responsible for overseeing the buyer experience, including onboarding, search and browse, inspiration, and checkout. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed a diverse range of projects, including brand identity refresh, search and browse experience integration, review system redesign, and loyalty program establishment.

I am truly passionate about enhancing the buyer experience by seamlessly integrating aesthetics, functionality, and usability into our designs. I excel at understanding user needs and translating them into remarkable design solutions. Through research and keen insights, I consistently create designs that captivate and exceed expectations. From concept to prototyping and final production, I maintain the highest standards of quality while aligning with the overall vision.

How I work

🔶 Designing The Right Thing

I always prioritize solving the right problems and establishing clear goals before diving into the design process. To ensure this, I utilize various tools such as data analysis, market research, competitive analysis, stakeholder and user interviews, depending on the specific case at hand. By gathering insights from these sources, I can set the primary strategy that aligns with the user and business objectives, ultimately guiding the design process toward success.

During the design phase, I thrive on broad ideation and validating possibilities and feasibility through design iterations. This involves conducting internal reviews and tests, user testing, and occasionally online A/B testing. Additionally, my background in computer science from university enables seamless collaboration with developers, allowing for efficient revisions based on feasibility. This synergy between design and development ensures a streamlined process and swift implementation of changes.

🔁 Evaluation And Iteration

After launching, I meticulously track the results to ensure that our designs effectively influence user behavior and contribute to achieving both user value and business goals. Launching the product allows us to gain valuable insights that were previously unknown, enabling us to make informed decisions for future improvements. Based on these findings, I initiate iterative cycles to continually enhance our work and deliver the value that users truly need. This iterative approach ensures that our designs remain responsive and aligned with evolving user needs and market dynamics.
